2011 is Upon Us...

It's hard for me to believe that it's almost 2011...time flies so fast!

2011 is going to bring on some positive changes for me which I am thrilled about :)

The boyfriend and I will be working on our second year of being together. I am so grateful that I have him in my life.

I will be switching campuses with my university and going to the Rosen College of Hospitality which is geared towards my major. Plus the campus is gorgeous compared to the huge one I am going to now.

I will be working more as a bridal assistant which is my passion.

My family is finally planning on going on another cruise this summer! We were waiting for my little brother to get to an appropriate age.

I will be turning 20 in 2011. Just being able to say I am in my 20's will feel amazing! All of my friends are older than me and so is my boyfriend so I feel much older than just 19.

In Fall 2011 I will be a junior in college. It's weird that I only have two more years of college before I get my Bachelor's and graduate.

I hope everyone has a very Happy New Year!

A Late Christmas Recap

Sorry my recap is late! It's a long post to make up for my absence :)

My Christmas Eve was amazing! I went to the boyfriend's house before the Christmas Eve service at my church and that is where his mom gave me my new Betsey Johnson bracelet. I love it so much!

Later that night after church, I went back over to the boyfriend's house and this time I brought the little brother and sister with me because Santa (boyfriend's stepdad) was going to be there! My boyfriend's family always has a big party on Christmas Eve with their family.

Kloe

and Braden

And as it is tradition, pretty much everyone had to sit on Santa's lap...

The boyfriend

"Mrs. Claus" aka boyfriend's mom
Once everyone from the party left, we exchanged gifts with his immediate family.

I have to say my favorite gift from Rusty was the promise ring he gave me! It's black and white diamonds....ahhhh :)

Now that was just Christmas Eve! Christmas day was spent at my house with the family.

Cutest stocking stuffer ever?

Cupcakes galore! My mother just encourages my obsession :)

Please excuse the lack of makeup!

My dad looks so fly in his new leather jacket

And then Rusty came later to open his gifts from my parents and eat Christmas dinner with my family.

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and have a wonderful New Year's!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Go link up!

I am loving that Friday is Christmas Eve!

I am loving that tomorrow my boyfriend took the whole day off :)

I am loving that the boyfriend and I are going to see Blue Man Group for our one year anniversary. I have always wanted to go because it looks like it would be interesting and entertaining!

I am loving these cute little cupcake key covers I got from Fredflare! I put them on my keys yesterday and my boyfriend even let me put them on his too (hehe).

I am loving that I have wrapped all of the Christmas gifts I can. I am still waiting on some to come in the mail though...I wish they would hurry up!

I am loving my family and boyfriend. They are always there to pick me up when I am down.

Happy hump day!

Top 2 Tuesday: Christmas Memories

Go link up with Taylor!

one.
On Christmas Eve, my parents used to make me and my brother go to bed early so that we would be asleep when Santa came to deliver presents. Of course being giddy and really wanting to open presents prevented us from having any sleep that night. So my parents would make noises downstairs that sounded like Santa coming down the chimney and delivering our presents. They were very believable!

two.
Every year, my church has a Christmas Eve service where we worship and light candles. I can't remember a year that I didn't attend. It's just perfect to be surrounded by the church family while remembering the true reason we celebrate Christmas. Singing O Holy Night and lighting the candles is our way of celebrating Jesus' birthday :)

Of course memories are made every Christmas and I can't wait to make some new ones this year!

Some from last year...

Please excuse my brother and his shirtless self!

I can't wait for Christmas to just be here already! Happy Tuesday friends!

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

It's time for a random Monday! Go link up!

uno. The weather in Florida has been rainy and gloomy. Boo.

dos. I got my grades for last semester! 3 A's and 1 B!

tres. My whole family has been getting the stomach flu. So far, just me and my sister have been the lucky ones. If I miss a few days of blogging in the near future, you know why...

cuatro. Last night I went to ICE with my boyfriend and sister. I had a blast and the ice was beautiful! It was 9 degrees in the exhibit so we had to wear those ugly blue parkas. We also got to catch a Christmas show that the hotel was featuring. Overall, a great time and I can't wait to go next year.

cinco. Today I am going to start my Christmas present wrapping. It always takes me so long because I am such a perfectionist. Ugh.

seis. I'm loving the time I took off from work. I still have today and tomorrow off :)

siete. Christmas and 2011 are almost upon us!

Quick Post Friday!

I apologize for not posting yesterday and posting late today but I have been so busy!

Last night I went to the Christmas party for the bridal company I work for and it was so much fun :)

This is the boyfriend and I right after the party when we got to his house.

I got my nails done today! They are festive and I LOVE the nail art my nail lady, Stephanie did. Isn't it cute?

Have a wonderful weekend and I can't wait to tell you all how my weekend was on Monday!
