Wee Bit of Me Wednesdays

{one} name one thing you worry about running out of.
I worry about running out of gas in my car. The thought of being stranded somewhere freaks me out. I hate it when my gas light comes on!

{two} what is your favorite pizza topping?
Extra cheese? I am not a huge fan of pizza toppings besides cheese although pizza with sliced tomatoes and basil on top is super yummy!

{three} what is your favorite harrison ford movie?
Any of the Indiana Jones movies. I love them!

{four} apple juice or orange juice?
Orange. It's super good for you.

{five} what’s your favorite thing to do on a sunday afternoon?
Sundays are usually spent relaxing and watching Sunday night cartoons on Fox.

{six} what is the wallpaper on your cellphone of?
The boyfriend and I :)

{seven} do you have a favorite tv commercial?
I love any and all of the Geico commercials.

{eight} what is the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
Probably chicken gizzards...I know it sounds awful. My mom made it for dinner once and didn't mention the gizzards part till after I was done eating. Gross.

{nine} what is one piece of clothing you can’t live without?
Jeans. I pretty much wear jeans every day until our Florida summer heat comes in. They are comfortable and go with everything!

{ten} if you were a character from “lost”, who would you be?
Um probably the chick with the freckles? I don't really know LOL I used to watch the show till I got LOST.

Miscellany Tuesday?

Okay it feels like Monday to me because yesterday I had the day off so I am just going to pretend it's Monday :)

one. Although I was sick, the bridal show I worked on Sunday was a success! We had tons of happy brides visit our booth and it was fun to watch a little bit of the bridal fashion show :) I love all things wedding which I guess is a good thing because that is my future career choice...

two. Last night the boyfriend and I went to Sho-Gun and let's just say I was about to burst afterwards. We both ate soooo much food. It's incredibly tasty! Our chef's name was Wasabi. This made me laugh.

three.  I feel a million times better! I am still a little congested but I don't feel like a zombie anymore. Thank God!

four. Sadly I did not have time this past weekend to get crafty :( There is always this weekend though.

five. I have to take my acrylic nails off for my cooking class! I truly don't know what I am going to do without them. We can't even have nail polish or anything...I will just have to give my nails a break I guess.

six. Have you all signed up for MJ's "I Heart Accessories Swap"? If you haven't, go do that right now!

Happy Tuesday friends!

Fun Friday!

Fun Fridays

Okay it's been way too long since I have linked up with Jen! Sorry girl!

So even though this weekend is pretty much going to consist of homework and work, I will try to have a little fun :)

Today I have to work a double plus I am STILL fighting a cold. I swear I am going on like two weeks with this thing. It does not want to go away. But I get to go home early and relax tonight. I can't wait for that.

Tomorrow night I will be working with the boyfriend at the restaurant. He has a full time job in addition to working as a host a few nights a week where I work. I love working with him. Whenever I get a little stressed with a busy Saturday night, he is there to calm me down.

Sunday I am helping out my boyfriend's family. They own a wedding photography/videography company called Rhodes Studios and they are having a booth at a bridal show. I am going to be there to help tell brides about their company. Afterwards, we are going to Chilli's for dinner. It's tradition to go there after every bridal show!

Monday is Martin Luther King Day and I couldn't be happier to have the day off from school and work. That night, the boyfriend and I are going to Sho-Gun. It's a Japanese tepannyaki restaurant that is sooo good. Better than Kobe in my opinion! Their steak is out of this world. Thinking about it is making my mouth water.

Oh and one more thing...I hope I have some free time on Monday for a little crafting. In addition to being way behind on my scrapbook, Lisa @ The Tolliver Times posted some great ideas for Valentine's Day wreaths. I want to make one so bad!

Have a wonderful weekend friends!

Stylish Blogger Award

Cafe Moka over at « Les mots ne mentent pas » awarded me with the Stylish Blogger Award! Thanks so much girl :) If you have not visited her blog, go check it out right now. She is awesome!

Here are the rules:
1. Share 7 facts about yourself
2. Pick 15 other bloggie gals to do the same!

one. I am Mexican and Costa Rican! You wouldn't know it by looking at me but my dad is from Mexico and my mom's mom is Costa Rican. Unfortunately for me, I get my pale skin from my momma because her dad was German and Dutch.

two. I understand Spanish very well but can't speak it! I understand my dad when I hear him talking to people in Spanish but I couldn't have a conversation with anyone even if I tried!

three. I absolutely love cupcakes! Some might say I am obsessed.

four. I do not function well without at least one nap a day. Yes I am an old lady! I have actually been without a nap this entire week due to school. I get a little cranky...

five. I met my boyfriend through my best friend in middle school and high school. He is her older stepbrother. I have known him since I was 12!

six. I take forever to get ready in the morning. I can't go anywhere without makeup on and my hair done so I need at least an hour to an hour and a half each morning.

seven. I love to cook. I haven't been able to cook lately because I am so busy with work and school but I love learning new recipes to try! I am actually taking a Food Preparation for Catering class which is required for my major. How awesome is that?!

As for the 15 bloggie gals...

I have awarded so many blogs lately and have run out of ideas for new blogs I love. If you know of a blog or have a blog that you think is stylish let me know :)

P.S. I will be better about posting from now on. School consumed my life this first week back!

Day 10 of 11 in 2011 Blog Challenge: Favorite Girls Night Out Event

I just have to say that I am posting while at my very new campus! School started today for most college students and this semester is new to me because I am at a branch off campus from UCF. I am at the Rosen College of Hospitality that is geared towards my major. It's such a beautiful and quiet campus compared to the university one. Plus they don't allow smoking on campus which is amazing! I am currently on a two hour break before my second class of the day so let's just say I am a little bored...

Yes, that is my school. Pretty, right?

Now onto today's 11 in 2011 challenge:

As I am young and a college student, most girls my age go out to bars or clubs when they have a girls night out. That is not my scene whatsoever. Not only do I have school and two jobs to worry about, I just don't see the fun in wearing inappropriate clothes and getting drunk.

So my idea of a fun girls night out would be to see a cute new chick flick out in theaters or grab dinner at a nice restaurant.

Something my friend Mackensie and I did one time was go the restaurant called The Melting Pot and we went just for dessert! The chocolate fondue is absolutely amazing there and we saved money by eating dinner at home.

I really need to have more of a social life this semester though. Last semester I was consumed by school and work and I missed out on a lot of fun.

Have a wonderful Monday friends!
